This Voice Volume Scale is a wonderful visual tool that breaks volume down to illustrate screaming all the way to silence.
It can be helpful to the child that often talks too loud for the situation. Simply telling that child to “be quiet” or “use an inside voice” doesn't always work. By using this visual Voice Volume Scale you can point to the voice level they are using and show them where their voice level should be. This provides a non-confrontational, systematic and visual way for prompting the child.
